Field of Blooms was opened in 2013 under the inspiration of Rosie Standish, an avid flower grower and gardener with over 20 years of experience. The 1880 home and fields lends itself to beautiful blooms and color. The happiness one derives from beautiful flowers and lush abundance is what we strive for with each bouquet. We grow sustainably as possible and produce from seed, corm, tuber, bulbs, and woodies stems. We currently have nine flower fields and we service weddings, showers, and other special occasions and our farm also functions as a event and photo venue as well.

Friday June 25th. Followed by July 23rd, August27th, September 24th and October 15th.
These are all the 4th Friday of the month, except for October which is the 3rd Friday.
Pick up Options
For 2021 we are offering 2 pick up options. Select your pickup location (on the farm, or North End in Hudson) in the pulldown on our SHOP page.
Our handmade bouquets will be filled with fresh flowers from our fields, responsibly grown without chemicals. All flowers are hand picked from what is seasonally blooming bursting with color and ready to be recut and placed in a vase or container of your choice at home.
To get the most out of your bouquet share, simply pick up your flowers on your designated day (or send a friend if you cannot make it). Keep them out of direct sunlight and give them a fresh cut before putting them into fresh clean water. Change the water regularly to keep bacteria from clogging the stems.
Our bouquet shares make a great gift for loved ones OR if you have a business, have fresh flowers on your reception desk.
Please note: Due to the perishable nature of our product, we will not offer refunds or extras if your pickups are missed.
As always, thank you so much for your local love and support of our small farm!

Rosie is owner of Field of Blooms. A previous nurse midwife and labor and delivery nurse, daily focus has changed from raising healthy mothers and babies to healthy flowers and blooms! She enjoys the challenge of all aspects of managing a local flower business and developing people. No one should live without flowers in their daily life!
Liz is now a Freshman at The Ohio State University and will have a fifth season on the farm! She has proved to be an invaluable asset to the farm and other team members. She has managed all aspects of the farmers market and "holds down the fort" when a mini vacation is needed by the owner. All flower farmer owners need a LIZ!
Mitch is a second year team member at Field of Blooms and performs a fair amount of property upkeep. He studies environmental science and restoration ecology at Loyola University of Chicago and loves the many bird species Field of Blooms attracts. His favorite flowers are sunflowers.
A lifelong resident of Mantua, Joan has always loved the flowers and arrangements made by Field of Blooms. She brings a wealth of knowledge of design and creations from her fiber arts experience and is an excellent teacher! Many enjoy Joan at the workshops and her positivity! This upcoming season will be Joan's fifth year. She enjoys being outside on our beautiful farm and working hard with the team. Joan loves to weed and care for our flowers, and she is proud to be a member of the Field of Blooms community.
A third year team member, Katie is studying government and environmental policy at the College of William and Mary. She enjoys working on the farm because she loves being outdoors and is constantly learning new things. Katie has a 'can do' attitude and is excellent at creating lovely floral arrangements. Her favorite flowers are the dahlias.
It is Monica's second season at Field of Blooms! As a 24 year veteran of teaching kindergarten and first grade, nothing on the farm is too challenging for Monica! She lives with her family in Mantua on a farm raising cows, horses and pigs. She enjoys gardening and being outdoors in general. She loves being able to bring nature's beauty indoors with beautiful, Ohio raised flowers.
Sue joined the Field of Blooms team in January of 2020. She is responsible for the marketing, website and other print materials. She also enjoys manning the booth at the Hudson Farmers Market on Saturday mornings and is an avid gardener.
